Terms of use

These Terms explain how you may use Ntekuma, what you can expect from the service, and what we expect from you. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Ntekuma is a workspace for generating web apps and sites, WordPress and Joomla themes, documents (including cited academic writing), and storyboards from prompts and uploads. Outputs are automated and may require review before use in production.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be legally able to use this service in your location. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to create or distribute illegal content, malware, harassment, or content that infringes on the rights of others. See the Acceptable Use Policy for details.

4. Your content & outputs

You retain ownership of your inputs and outputs. You grant us permission to process your data to provide the service and to operate previews. You are responsible for verifying outputs before publishing or shipping.

Writing samples. When you write a document, we keep the finished text, how natural each sentence reads to our checks, and the rewrites tried on it, and use them to train and evaluate Ntekuma's own writing models. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use these samples for that purpose only. We don't publish them or sell them. You can turn this off at any time in Settings > Account, which also deletes the samples we have kept. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. Third-party services

We rely on third-party providers (for example, OpenRouter for AI models, Stripe for payments, and our hosting providers). Their services may have separate terms. AI usage runs on your own OpenRouter key and is subject to OpenRouter's terms. We are not responsible for outages or issues caused by third parties beyond our control.

6. Subscription, billing, and refunds

Building and publishing require a paid monthly subscription, which pays for the platform. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, and you can cancel at any time. Ntekuma does not sell AI credits or tokens: AI usage is billed separately by OpenRouter to your own account, at OpenRouter's rates. We may adjust or refund subscription charges for billing errors, chargebacks, or abuse prevention. See Pricing for plan details.

7. Availability, changes, and termination

We may update, pause, or discontinue parts of the service. We may suspend accounts for violations or misuse. You may stop using the service at any time.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or for losses caused by reliance on automated outputs.
